The Apology In The Apology, Socrates’ trail shows signs of both similarities and differences when compared to our modern judicial system. Some of the similarities are, you can testify and defend yourself in court, there is the option of the death penalty if found guilty, and they also have court officers. They both had there differences, the jury was made up of people that were not of his peers, there was no one to testify against, and there was no specific court for different types of trials.
