Bushwalk Evaluation On Monday the 26th of May we met at school at 6:30 in the morning to leave for a 4 hour drive to Wilsons Promontory. We arrived at Tidal River in our mini busses and had a quick lunch and then left to Telegraph Saddle on the windy road to begin the 3 day hike around the southern section of Wilsons Prom. Most people had a fair idea of what to expect because we had planned the route but as I had already been in the area we would be going I knew pretty much exactly what to expect, which was good. This time of the year at Wilsons Prom could easily get very cold at night and wind and rain were common. Our packs were ready and after a quick talk we began. We were all looking forward to the journey and knew parts would be challenging but we could do it. The first section we walked was to windy saddle which was quite up and down but the path was wide and wasn’t too rocky.
