About two weeks ago I went to a presentation that was given by an Indian on his art work. The only bad thing about the presentation was that he never gave us his name, be just talked about is art work. ...
He is working on the art work for an Indian calendar, which is not counted by months, but by moons. The art work that he showed us all had to do with the Indian head nickle. One thing that he said was how the are trying to get rid of the name Indian head nickle and make it the Buffalo quarter. ... The funny thing was, when the nickle was being produced the government would let them put it out at first because the man didn’t look Indian enough.
