The two classical civilizations, India and China, both had many similarity and differences when it came to Social, Religious, and Political views. Due to their similarities and difference this allowed them to flourish and become a strong civilization. One of the social differences between China and India was that china didn’t respect their women. Women didn’t have an active rule in government nor any impact in decision-making. “Women although subordinate, had their own clearly defined roles and could sometimes gain power through their sons and as mother’s in law of younger women” Then when it came to India women were respected but had a limitation to the things that they were able to do. “ The rights of women became increasingly limited in Indian civilization….
