For 1’300 years, the Jihad, the supposed Muslim “holy war” against Christianity and other faiths has throughout the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia. This holy war has now reached the Americas. The Jihad originates in the early 600’s when the Muslim prophet Muhammad preached the teachings of the Qur’an. His followers were sent to wage war against the various pagan Arab tribes of the Medina peninsula, and to demand their acknowledgement of the sovereignty of the Qur’an and to convert to the Islamic religion. These former century conflicts, as well as the horrendous acts of terrorism in recent decades, are not simply a people on a holy quest to expand their faith worldwide, they are an expression of the distaste, aggression, and antagonism, which the Islamic religion has always manifested towards the non-Muslim world.
