The Near East civilizations are often called “The Cradle of Civilization” because many modern ideas and inventions began during this time. The accomplishments of these civilizations range from teaching to trading, from mathematics to medicine, and from agricultural to astronomy. With all the great achievements of the Near East, it is no surprise that many of them were passed on to later civilizations.
