In this age of ecology consciousness, we hear more and more about the best way to provide power to the billions of people inhabiting the earth. Power from fossil fuels has long been considered the most economical means of producing electricity. Coal, however, is expensive and dangerous to mine, and the supply is not unlimited. What's more, environmentalists are forever attacking the use of fossil fuels because of the pollution caused by power plant emissions.
