Eyes on the Prize

Eyes on the Prize The movie “Eyes on the Prize” upset me. I thought it was horrible the way that African Americans were treated, and to think that it wasn’t even that long ago that all of that was going on was just shocking. It was sick to see that people would treat each other that way just because of the color of their skin. It also made me realize how truly brave it was for the people who tried to make change. Both the blacks and the whites were risking their lives for such an important cause. I can’t even try to imagine what in would be like today if it wasn’t for such brave people and leaders like Martin Luther King and Malcolm X. and every one else who sacrificed so much of their lives for such an important cause.
