|
|
|
The idea of a restaurant appeared a long time ago in commercial cities of Europe and elsewhere and was quite different from the modern restaurant. This establishment had its roots in taverns, inns and boarding houses of an earlier day. The earlier institutions served food and alcoholic beverages and gave accommodation to travelers.
