The documentary First Person Singular: John Hope Franklin gave a biography of Franklin through the voice of Franklin. It told of his life from the foundation to current status it is today. It expressed his many contributions that were made during his life. One of his many accomplishments, include his book From Slavery to Freedom: A History of American Negroes. This was not an easy accomplishment, due to the fact that Franklin encountered many problems during his preparation for the textbook.
