Over the past few millennia, world leaders have drastically affected the ingenuity and production (or counter production) of humans. ... During the late Middle Ages, the Mongol emperor Genghis Khan significantly affected the political and social fabric of central Asia and the economy of the world with his pillaging and decimation of his enemies and all others in his (Lister 2-4).
After a harsh childhood in the Mongol wastelands, Genghis Khan, who was born in the latter half of the twelfth century, unites the Mongolian tribes and creates the largest empire ever ruled by one man. Khan’s trying childhood, which includes the murder of his father and living in poverty, eventually contributed to his fierce approach on the battlefield and how he ruled his people (“Khan” 1). Then, following many victories on the battlefield, Genghis Khan becomes the elected ruler of all the Mongol tribes.
