“Between 1861 and 1905 Russian Industry had developed dramatically and created a firm foundation for the future while agriculture had failed to develop at all.”


Between 1861 and 1905, the Russian economy as a whole experienced significant economic growth, particularly in industry. Population doubled between 1861 and 1905 to a figure of around 120 million. ...
