In order to understand why the American Revolution was fought, one must look at more than just what history books tell him--he must consider the actions and motives of the individuals and the relationship of the British-American conflict. One key propaganda technique to be observed would be the Boston Massacre. The Boston Massacre was the result of tensions that had grown between the colonists and the British armies.
