Sudden Strike On June 14, 1940, the most beautiful city in the world lost its beauty under the worst attack that France has ever seen. Paris was settled by the Germany’s army, every thing were destroyed, buildings, hospitals, factories, and kills were everywhere. It was really a dramatic situation. After few days, France started organizing its forces in order to free its land. 300 000 resistant, men and women, of all the ages, all the social layers, all the sensitivities political and religious, French and foreign (antifascists Italian, anti-nazis German, republican Spanish, Armenian and Jewish stateless people…). Constantly they risked to be denounced, stopped, to be tortured, imprisoned, to be carried out or offset (http://crdp.ac-reims.fr/memoire/bac/2gm/sujets/02resistance.htm).
