The Birmingham Civil Rights Museum

|
The civil rights movement in America has been an ongoing struggle for equality. This institution has held the history of this struggle so that the nation never forgets the movement’s importance. As one enters the building they are prompted to seat themselves in a small theater. There was a short film on the history of Birmingham and it’s African American citizens. It talks of how both whites (mostly immigrants) and blacks help the city prosper through their hard work in mines, steel mills, and factories.
