The constitution, one of the most powerfully pieces of writing in U.S. ... The constitution promises people that they have certain rights, these are guaranteed to all US citizens that live in the United States. This was a major changing point for many people back in the late 1800’s. Now in the current day, the Constitution has been one of the biggest factors in shaping the ways of our lives as we know them today.
Back in the mid 1800’s people had no rights. ... And they really didn’t get fixed until the constitution was set in place. ... Yet even thought that the constitution was in place, African Americans were considered U.S. ... But this was just one of the major changes in the 1800’s, but during that time, it really helped shape America for what it is today. ... With out the constitution these people wouldn’t be able to do that.
