What factors were revolutionary about martin luthers views?
Martin Luther had many views that were found to be revolutionary. The one which particularly stood out to me was how he viewed the church. Luther was angered at the indulgences that were being sold thanks to Johann Tetzel. An indulgence was a pardon for a sin in exchange for a gift or for money. The church sold indulgences in order to pay for many of the great cathedrals and to raise money for the church.
