With the population growth in New York and other major cities the spread of these family Mobs moved into Pittsburgh, Chicago, Cleveland, and Youngstown, is a city in between Pittsburgh and Cleveland. Pittsburgh and Cleveland had major Mafia ties with Youngstown. ... With these major ties with the major cities and big-named bosses, Youngstown’s Public Officials, Policemen, Judges, and others were being controlled by the Mob for many years in our in this mid-sized city.
