Is Abortion Ethical or Necessary

Abortion is defined as the termination of a pregnancy or the spontaneous expulsion of a human fetus during the first 12 weeks of gestation. Abortion is usually practiced when a woman is incapable of taking care of a child or does not want to be responsible for it. Just when did abortion begin, how did it become a popular method of getting rid of a fetus? There have been many opinions about Abortion, since it is seen as a right that should be guaranteed to a person under the 14th Amendment. ... An abortion should be granted to anyone who desires to have one and should not be interfered by religious or State opinions.
Even though one may think that ideas of abortion began just a couple of decades ago, this is not true. In the United States, abortion laws began to appear in the 1820s, which forbade abortion after the fourth month of pregnancy. ...
