This essay will concentrate on two aspects of the quality of life. It will discuss these particular qualities and examine in what ways they have or have not improved in the last 50 years.
The first aspect of the quality of life I want to concentrate on is food. Food is a fundamental aspect of life. ... As people don’t have to worry about having enough to eat, the quality and the variety of food come into focus. ... A lot of people feel that good and varying food improves their quality of life. ...
But is this also the case for the quality of food? Has the quality of food changed in the last 50 years? ... On the contrary, I think that mass production of food has led to lower quality of food. ... This led to production methods that contaminate our food with toxins and allergens at the expense of the quality of food. This in turn led to a number of diet-related diseases and allergies which reduce the quality of life.
The second aspect of the quality of life I want to discuss in this essay is time. I think that having enough spare time to do whatever one pleases can give a quality to life that we mustn’t underestimate.
