I Wonder

I WONDER In the middle of Cubao’s rush lies Fiesta Carnival. Unlike the places that surround it, Fiesta Carnival is a place where families, friends and people from all walks of life gather to enjoy. A trip to the Carnival is like a reward earned after a hard week’s work. Although the ambience inside differs greatly from the atmosphere outside and in Cubao’s busy streets, the cacophony of sounds inside can easily match that of the stadium, market or mall that surround Fiesta Carnival. Although it is a place that serves as a break from the daily routines of people, it is also a place where people come to work. In a visit to the Carnival, one can easily be blinded by the rides that fill the place. There is a train ride elevated from everything else, a roller coaster below it, two karaoke sections nearby, a carousel and bump cars as well. All these rides produce rumbling sounds that compete with each other. Also, all these machines compete with one another for the attention of the crowd and each one is successful; but in the middle of all this, lies the ticket lady. Compared to everything else that surrounds her, the ticket booth, which is a staple in any carnival, is easily drowned out.
