Jane Goodall’s “First Observations” is about the author’s discovery of chimpanzee’s through observing them over a period of time. She explains how she came to know the chimps, how they behaved, which ones were which, how they went about their daily life, and what they did to survive in their habitat. She goes into detail about how they create their own tools from plants and anything else laying around so that they can do things like get termites out of their tunnels so they could eat them.
