Born on May 21st, 1960, at the Evangelical Deaconess Hospital in Milwaukee, Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer looked like any other baby in the nursery. His mother, Joyce, like any other new mother, even started a scrap book to mark her son’s milestones. His first steps, his first accident, his first hair cut, his first lost tooth, even his first scolding. Jeff’s father, Lionel, worked long hours and was not home often. There is also speculation that he may have been an alcoholic. At the age of six Jeff moved with his family to Ohio. Two years later, at the impressionably tender age of eight, he would be sexually molested by a neighbor. Regardless, there was nothing to indicate to his parents during these first few years that their son would eventually turn out to be one of the most prolific serial killers of all time.
