Familiarisation trip to the UK for Russian education agents Photos Throughout the year 2000 the British Council has held a number of promotional and information sessions in Moscow, St Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Novosibirsk and Urals for agencies working in the Russian education market. These seminars aimed to provide the agencies with general information on procedures of enrolling students to UK institutions information on the system of language schools accreditation by the British Council and information on ARELS activities A special visa session was held to explain the new simplified system of Visa Issuing for Russian citizens for agents in Moscow. All these events contributed to strengthening relationship with agents. In January - February 2001 the British Council organised a familirization trip to the UK for Russian educational agencies.
