Knowledge of God
One of the most common religions in North America is Christianity. In this religion there is God, who is an infinite being and is all-powerful. ... All Christians believe that “There is a God who loves humankind.” Knowledge of this statement is universal to all people in many different religions. By knowledge, I mean by Hospers’ definition that if something is known then it must be true, it must be believed in, and it must have evidence to prove it. Anyone can have knowledge of a God and also determine if humankind is loved or not. ... Humans are able to think intuitively that there is some kind of God. Even if they do not believe in a particular god or all-knowing being, they still have knowledge of it. Rene Descartes believes that everyone must have some knowledge of God, even atheists, because the concept of God is too complex for humans to create. I agree that the idea of God is so great that it could not have been made up.
