Karen Horney (1885-1952) is best known as a psychiatrist who founded both the American Institute for Psychoanalysis and the American Journal of Psychoanalysis. She also has many publications, one being “The Distrust between the Sexes.” According to Horney problems in a person’s childhood affects his or her relationships to the opposite sex later in life. Horney uses many forms of proof to back up this belief. ...
