The Lake
It was five years ago, in the middle of summertime, and down the road from my house was where my little adventure took place. There was a gigantic lake where my brother and I loved to explore every once in a while, but never had the guts to float down on a raft until now. Walking around the lake made one sweat like they were in a sauna. ... When we weren’t exploring the lake, we always seemed to be fighting with each other because we were never able to set our differences aside and act like loving brothers. We finally made the decision that we were going to explore the lake with greater detail. ... Since the lake was on our neighbor’s property, we knew it would be safe for us because there was no one else was allowed on it. ... It was the most beautiful lake anyone could imagine.
