But wait, didn’t I download the [insert movie title here]s [insert movie song here] from a Russian, French, Swedish and/or Spanish site (which are the only sites that seem to have working MP3s lately (no surprise – one even came out and said “MP3s are not illegal in Sweden”)? ... (Speaking of my tape player, before I burned CDs, I recorded MP3s on cassettes, some of which I still have, blissfully unaware of the consequential long hand of the RIAA…in fact, I had no idea what an RIAA was, or that it even existed, for that matter). ... com purposes only”) – so technically, I’ve never kept any illegal MP3s (…) because I’d download them, record/burn them, then slip the crisp new personalized selection of music in my tape box or CD case, and get rid of the files.
