I have always known that I was going to college after high school. Partially, because I wanted to go and the other part was pressure from my parents. When I got to college I only expected to go to all my classes, get all the credits I needed to graduate and eventually leave with a degree. College means different things to different people. I believe I have learned more than just academics in college. I have learned necessary things to improve me as an overall person. I have learned to be more accurate with my computer skills and to write better papers. There is simply no way to avoid computers in the college, even if one so desires. ... This semester I had to take my hospitality management course online, on a program called Courseline. ... I have also had to type a lot of paper. In high school I wasn’t required to use the computer as much, so my form of typing wasn’t very good. When I had to turn in a paper it did not matter whether or not it was typed. In college I have improved my speed of typing, which helps me to complete my papers faster. |
