New Year's 2003

The wildest party I ever attended was New Year’s 2003 at James Johnson’s. The alcohol was flowing like the muddy Mississippi after a deluge of rain. James two years ahead of me; he always knows how to throw a big event at his house. It helps out immensely that his father is the town justice in Pomfret; we know we can go there with no worries of law enforcement ruining a good party. The night started out like any night for Eric, Ben, and I. We do what we call a “little pre-game” before we “step on the field”, which is us partying at my apartment before we went out. We knew this was going to be a new year so we wanted to come in really strong. Ben was the guy who purchased our liquor for us. Eric took a liter of Jack, while I took a liter of Bacardi Limon to the party.
