In my opinion, the 2003 Budget will prove to be very important for economic development in the next few months. Because development was its chief priority, the budget focused on issues relevant to the development process. Poverty, education, health and infrastructure are all fundamental to our progress as a nation and the budget paid almost exclusive attention to them.
