As the summer comes to an end and the weather gets colder what else starts but school. ... But this year as we have come back we have faced a new problem -- prayer in schools. ... The renewed emphasis on religion caused by the terrorist’s attack has caused our nation to consider allowing public prayer in schools. ... I do not think that praying in school is a good idea and I will share with you why.
I am not saying that prayer is a bad thing. I am a religious person and I do pray but we are dealing with so much more then just one simple everyday prayer. ... Now if we brought prayer into school can you even imagine what problems some kids might have? ... Our schools have a hard enough time keeping things balanced and prayer would just throw it even more off balance.
