These programs where started in hopes to reduce crime. However this conforms earlier research, that found even giving someone a chance at a job, they cant overcome there life of crime. ... This program was set up by a community that wanted to stop crime in there neighborhood. ... This means that already a lot of crime and citizens had to report when they saw a crime. ... Also there are community based mentioning and after school programs that have demonstrated that they can decrease some crime and substance abuse. ... This will lower crime by itself. It has been found that material losses for must criminals will deter them from committing another crime.
