Personal Goals

At only twenty-four years old, I’ve already accomplished so much, yet there still remains so much left undone. Professionally, I would like to complete my college education to move ahead in my career. Personally, I would like to be able to control my temper and other things about myself that restrict me from feeling at peace with myself and my surroundings and this also goes back to my abilities to advance in my career. I made the decision to attend college and work towards obtaining my Bachelor’s degree for several reasons. Not only is it another one of those life long goals that can be checked off the list we all carry around in our heads, but it will be a great example for my children as well. I need to be able to show them and the people in my life, that even under some undesirable circumstances, there is still a time and a way to achieve the things that are most important to me as a person. Going to college while working full time with two children is going to be difficult, but it can be done and I believe in myself enough to make sure it gets done and I follow it through to the end.
