Scar of the Heart

There is always a big mistake that everyone remembers throughout their lives. We make many small ones, but there is always one big one that we wish would have never happened. My big mistake happened during this past year, in the second semester of my junior year. At the time, I had a boyfriend. We had been together for about five or so months. Everything was going great until he got sick one Friday. Usually we do something every Friday night, but since he was sick, I had planned on going with one of my friends to the movies. This friend wasn’t any ordinary friend, he was one of my best guy friends. I told my boyfriend that other people were going to be at the movies, which there were supposed to be other people. When I got to the movies, he said that no one else could come. Thinking that my boyfriend could trust me, I went along and saw the movie with my friend. After the movie, I called my boyfriend and he had asked who else went to the movies. I wasn’t going to like to him so I told him the truth.
