Title: The Magician’s Nephew Author: C.S. Lewis Type of book: Fiction This book report is based upon the story, The Magician’s Nephew, written by C.S. Lewis. The book is about a little boy Digory, his Uncle Andrew and a girl named Polly who lives next door. Uncle Andrew is a very greedy man who thinks that he is a magician with special powers. He used his power to make people disappear using magic rings that were given to him by Mrs. Lefay. This book shows the hardships that come along with dealing with greedy, conceded and rude people. In this novel the author shows the problems caused by greed. An example of this would be how Uncle Andrew connived Polly into putting one of the rings on her finger, causing her to disappear.
