The Future In the distant future, the world will have undergone numerous dramatic changes. As opposed to today, nothing has remained the same; education, politics, the way the government runs, medicine, technology, everyday problems, everyday routines, nothing is the same, and nothing will ever be remembered the way it was formerly. Now one has to worry about how to sneak outside of their house at night, because there are curfews, drones patrolling the mean streets where one fears to step outside their cell. Lurkers around every corner, walking alone through the streets was unheard of, so everyone travels in large groups, never alone always with an acquaintance, but never alone. Throughout the vast cities that are heavily polluted, there was a thick cloud of smog that resembled a swamp in the sky caused by all of the industrial waste emitted from the plants. There is no longer any manual labor, the only jobs obtained by humans were that of the business man, but they are not like the business man pictured by many from a thousand years ago. Staring into the eyes of these men in black suites one hesitated to speak to them, only other businessmen spoke to other businessmen. The corporate world was dominated by one company, so everything is ruled under one man who made all the money. One man who could control the rise and fall of the economy, or what is left of it. The only good thing that came of all of this was that the communications and telecommunications are far superior to that of the past. Everything was communicated by satellites and there was no delay in time zones. Phone calls and televisions were transmitted without delay. Phone calls are done by video phone, in every home; even classes were taught by distance learning. Education is now totally different, one logged into the classroom by video phone, and there were no longer and teachers, only professors. Every grade level was taught like a college course, no more treating children like they were children; everyone was handled with the same respect and attitude. Professors then checked to make sure every student was logged into the classroom via video phone on time (which was no until noon everyday); should one of the students not have reported in, the professor then proceeds to report that individual to the school police.
