The Regretful Mistake

Saturday, June 28, 2003, I was off to the mall with a bunch of my friends. We all decided on going early, that way we would practically have the whole mall to ourselves. Kids our age (14-18) are still sleeping at home waiting for the afternoon sunshine to brighten up their room and warm their faces. Unfortunately for us, we arrived there a lot later then we expected. Just our luck. Us girls quivered in our stomachs as we headed towards the automatic glass doors to the entrance of the Boynton Beach Mall. All of us must have been thinking the same thing. You could see it in each face. Amanda, who is my best friend, looked pale, like she had just seen a spector. She has blonde hair that you can do just about anything with, blue eyes that almost every guy she talked to fell for her and such a great peronality. Her personality is what made her Amanda. No matter who was down, whether she knew them or not, she knew just the right medicine to cure them. On the other side of me was Shannon. She is a trip. She is very short but with such a big bust for her age. 14 years of age and already forming a voluptuous body, perfect for modeling. She is always scared and cautious, but I guess that sometimes is a good thing, especially in this point in time. My third friend who happened to be trailing behind the rest of us, seemed particularly quiet today. Audrey was her name. Every time I looked at that girl, I think of how she looks so vibrant.
