High school dropouts has become a more controversial issue over the past years, even though many studies say the rates of high school dropouts have declined, there still is not an answer. Many people agree the issue of high school dropouts should be discussed and officially abolished, yet the students, usually the dropouts, and some parents, usually parents of dropouts don’t see the importance of this issue; on the other hand others who aren’t even directly involved with these students, such as parents of successful students, faculty members from different schools, and other students who continue their education are trying to find an answer to this issue. There are many debates over what causes these students to give up on school, but unfortunately it end up being a blame game. Everyone points fingers at the students, the teachers, the school administration, the parents, and/or society in general. During this wasted time, students still continue to make the decision to dropout of school.
Many of these dropouts have given many different reasons to why he or she decided to dropout of school. Some of these reasons are school related, job related, or family related. Most students claim that high school just is not for them. ... Department of Education Statistics, 51 percent of students did not like school, 35 percent could not get along with teachers, and 39.
