would always write it so Ford would have to explain it again to Arthur because he is a human being, just like us. Once I read the first chapter of the book I knew it would remain funny throughout the whole book. It was never dull as some books can be. The main character in the book is Arthur Dent. A human being living a normal life until the Earth is exploded. While hitchhiking across the galaxy Arthur learns things about other planets and people that he would never have thought of. He asks a lot of questions to Ford as he only has the answers. During the course of this book Arthur develops a more confident attitude towards many things like life being one of them and his personality knowing that he is the only one on Earth that will know any of the secrets about the Galaxy.
