Movie Proposal
The film I am about to propose to you is one that will influence and touch everyone who watches it. The Turner Movie Network has displayed and produced many classic films in the past and I feel this movie will add to TMN’s already note-worthy collection of films.
In this film I intend to focus on a very important part of American history, in which African Americans were still being mistreated and were fighting for their freedom, stronger than ever before. This film will take place during the end of the Jim Crow Era. ... During my research for this movie I discovered a startling statistic that stated only 20% of students surveyed at an unnamed college recognized or knew the name Jim Crow. ... I feel that everyone should experience that important part of history and this film will create an understanding of what really happened and how the black community felt.
