The film Remeber the Titans is about a football team and the challenges they face and over come as their highschool amalgamates. Gary Burteir, the captain of the football team, faces many challanges that he must overcome because of the amalgamation. Gary becomes the leader of the football team because he seems to be the one who starts to motivate the black and the white players to work together during training camp.Gary shows many qualities of leadership throughout the film.Gary is able to take criticism and this is shown numerous times when he receives it from Coach Boon, Coach Yoast and other team mates. Gary was able to make important decisions that bettered the team.
