David Aames is already dead, but his dreams bring him back to life. Throughout the movie Vanilla Sky the idea that dreams are the same as reality is proven to be very possible. ... Vanilla Sky took this idea to an extreme level. ... David goes into a deep reality of his own mind. His dreams actually become his reality. ... David Aames is a man in his own world, completely detached from reality and the really world. ... This can happen in reality, and is also not uncommon for a dream. ...
