Gladiator is made a ‘good’ film by the way in which many elements are combined together to give a contrasting and fresh approach.
- The way in which the director (Ridley Scott) uses angles and perspective within the film. This is evident in many of the fight scenes within the film.
- The way in which colours are used during the film. Colours in the film commonly depict who the hero is (Maximus) and who the villain is (Marcus).
