Ok¡¦. you¡¯ve been asking about sydney tourneys all week so here you go. This week istar will be holding another tournament which is COMPLETELY separate from the previous 4 tournaments we¡¯ve held, so YES Bronx u can compete :p . The final of the other tournaments has been postponed until condition zero is officially released although it has gone gold, so it shouldn¡¯t be too far away (we¡¯ll keep u posted). This tournament is just to keep the Sydney cs scene alive and kicking, and also to help us further calculate the seedings and divisions for the upcoming istar league :D 1st place is $500 :p. The tournament will be held in a similar fashion to our last 4. It is 16 team, single elimination and will be STARTING at 11am so be there by 10am. People who arrive after 11 may not be able to compete.Registration will be $10 per person and Once again it is a first in best dressed tourney so email me on joel@istarzone.net after 9pm Wednesday the 10 (tonight) to get your position. Yes you will be getting some time to prac it up this time with an early release map rotation. Maps will be Round 1 : de_dust2 Round 2 : de_cbble Round 3 : de_inferno Round 4 : de_train Rules etc .. will be explained on the day. Anyone who would like to volunteer their admin expertise for favors ; ) if u could also email me or speak to either me or tyb on mirc. it would be greatly appreciated. Sorry about the late notice although its been quite busy trying to organise a continuous flow of tourneys for you guys in the not too distant future :D Hope to see u all here on Sunday. Earlier this morning, Alfred from the official VALVE team has posted some very valuable information about steam on the HLDS mailing list, which concludes the timeline in which it'll take before the entire 1.5 system will be obsolete for when the new system will take play over WON.
