When three young high school students about to graduate decided to take their enthusiasm for music and see what they could do for themselves in the future, they never thought that what they would embark on would be a circle of companionship that has turned the band into what it has become today. ‘No Mean Feet’ was originally a four piece band called ‘Odd One Out’ influenced by bands such as ‘Bodyjar’, ‘Nofx’ just to name a few. They started in late ’98 and consisted of three of the current members- Grant Owen, a surf life saver from Stradbroke Island who managed to teach himself the art of drumming by using what they discovered to be quite a musical ear, always an easy going bloke, Grant has always played for the sheer enjoyment he gets from the experience of being in the band.
