Role Playing: Peasants During Absolutism Life isn't easy for me right now. The nobles and rulers have established serfdom. Serfs are losing rights. I can't run away, or I will be punished horribly. This is not fair. I know I should be loyal to my Lord of the manor, so I have a place for my family, but I am losing more rights. Last week I worked for 6 days with no pay. How am I to gain freedom if I can't make enough money to gain it myself?
