Introduction The most phenomenal popular music success since Elvis Presley and the Beatles is the first and foremost brilliant entertainer Michael Joseph Jackson. Michael has become one of the most recognizable, if not the most recognizable, figure in the entertainment industry. ... Background Michael Joseph Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana on August 29, 1958 as the seventh of nine children to Katherine and Joseph Jackson. Siblings were Maureen, Sigmund “Jackie,“ Tariano “Tito,“ Jermaine, LaToya, twins Marion and Brandon (Brandon lived less than 24 hours), Michael, Janet, and Stephen Randall “Randy”. Michael lived in a small four-bedroom house with a living room, kitchen, one bathroom and two bedrooms. ... Michael had a very strict upbringing. ...
