It seems that music is an easy target for censorship, because it is very easy to condemn something that you don’t understand. For years and years, the controversy over censoring different types of music that is being played continues to go on. Many people that want to censor the lyrical content of music are just afraid of the issues that are being confronted by the artists. Instead of looking at music as though it creates problems, it should force us to confront them, music is not a cause it is a reflection. ... If I have the right to say what I want, a lyricist should be able to also.
There are many people who want to censor music because they believe that music has a negative influence on society.
