What is Justice?

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra…. All about the oboes The Classical Season Concert that I attended on Thursday September 25 was quite a fascinating concert. The three pieces that were played (Hayden Symphony No. 95 in C minor, Bartok Concerto No.3 for Piano and Orchestra, and Beethoven Symphony No. 7 in A Major, Op. 92) were short but compelling. In the intro of Hayden Symphony No. 95 in C minor, the piece was very lively and the dynamics were composed of Mezzo-Forte. The expression of this piece was that of a light and pleasant manner. It was a very melodic piece with lots of chromatic notes. I am unsure about the recitive, but I think that in this piece the high strings and the middle strings had a kind of recitative feeling like question and answering. The second theme was composed of triplets that dominated the piece. It was also very lyrical and melodic. The attractive thing that caught my attention was that of the cello solo…it was breathtaking.
